About ANW

Anthem Neighborhood Watch (ANW) is a stand-alone committee, but also reports to and receives some funding from the Anthem Community Council (ACC). These volunteers work together to help prevent and deter crime in Anthem neighborhoods. An executive committee works together with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Phoenix Police Department, and Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical Department to provide resources and training to volunteers and the community.

"Neighbors helping neighbors" is the motto of ANW's programs, which include resources to help secure homes and property, volunteering at community events, updating residents, and hosting a block watch program to deter potential criminal activity.

Arizona Gain LogoGetting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (GAIN)

Every year in October, Anthem residents celebrate ANW's Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (G.A.I.N.) event. Formerly known as National Night Out, G.A.I.N. is for residents to get together in their neighborhoods to promote safety and communication and celebrate the successes of crime prevention.

Local law enforcement and fire, as well as the Anthem Community Council, Anthem's homeowners' associations, and ANW, visit neighborhood block parties to meet with residents, answer questions, and encourage neighbors to continue working together to keep Anthem safe.
