Each spring, the Anthem Community Council (ACC) and HOAs elect new members to their Boards of Directors. Anthem Country Club Community Association (ACCCA) and Anthem Parkside Community Association (APCA) both had two open seats on their Boards; elected directors serve two-year terms. The ACC had two open seats on its Board; one each representing the residents of the Anthem ACCCA and APCA. The Village HOA had five open seats on its Board.
ACC Board
Darrin Francom (incumbent) ran unopposed for his seat on the ACC Board, representing Parkside residents; he retained his seat. Carolynn Hiron was elected to the seat being vacated by Rick Kesselman, representing Country Club residents.
At the April 24 ACC Board meeting, the following officers were elected:
- President: Terry Mullarkey
- Vice President: Bob McKenzie
- Secretary: Darrin Francom
- Treasurer: John Balzer
- Directors: Dino Cotton, Carolynn Hiron and Roger Willis
HOA Boards
Tim Fyke retained his seat, and Brad Sundquist was elected to the Board for APCA. Steve Champion and Henry Barrie were elected to open seats on the ACCCA Board. The new Village Board includes Gina Richard, Kathleen Shemanek, Lisa Purcell, Steve Neuman and Ron McGraw.
At Parkside's April 18 meeting, the following officers were elected:
- President: Doug Sutherland
- Vice President: Bettye Ruff
- Secretary: Chris Yano
- Treasurer: Tim Fyke
- Director: Brad Sundquist
At the April 25 ACCCA Board meeting, the following officers were elected:
- President: Carl Benner
- Vice President: Barbara Birdseye
- Secretary: Steve Champion
- Treasurer: Greg Strand
- Director: Henry Barrie
Village officer elections will take place in June.
