2021-26 facilities master plan proposals

Thank you for your interest in the Facilities Master Plan (FMP).  This page contains the most current information available about each of the proposed projects.  
In examining the projects, the review committee considers some of the following factors.

• How much will the project cost to build?
• How long will it take to build?
• How much will the project cost to operate and maintain after it is built?
• Will the project generate revenue?
• Who are the potential users of the project?  
• What are the potential usage rates of the project?
  

As part of the FMP process, the committee is seeking community input regarding the proposed projects. Please consider clicking on the survey link at the bottom of the page and sharing your thoughts.

1. Indoor Racquetball Courts
To build, at the existing Anthem Community Center, up to four (4) multi-use indoor racquetball courts.

2. Hastings Field and Parking and Restroom Installation
At the April 26, 2023 ACC Board of Directors meeting, the board voted by majority to remove Hastings Field project from the Facilities Master Plan and secondarily take the Liberty Bell project under advisement for further discussion.

4. Museum–For 25th Anniversary of Anthem
Collection of items and artifacts displayed in existing Civic Building & the Community Center, to coincide with 25th Anniversary of Anthem

5. North Grass–Enhancement
Enhance and update the current seasonally used Anthem Community Center North Grass area for added year-round usage.

6. Park Restrooms–Modernize
Replace Community Park restrooms with modern restrooms.

7. Performing Arts & Entertainment Center
To provide the greater Anthem community with a multi-functional performing arts and entertainment venue that services the needs of the local residents, businesses, and non-profits, and promotes a vibrant and diverse cultural arts experience.

8. Pickleball Court–Additional Courts
Build an additional six (6) pickleball courts at the Anthem Community Center.

9. Tennis Court #1–Enhancement
Enhance Stadium Court #1 to include bleacher seating, higher walls, cameras, and better lighting.
