The Anthem Community Council Board of Directors held a working session on Thursday, March 11th to discuss the non-residential property owner vote. Approximately 50 residents were in attendance to provide opinions and options on how to proceed with this matter. The Commercial Properties Committee (CPC) offered the recommendation to Council to not allow the non-residential property owners to vote in the current election; to proceed with the election subcommittee; to provide updates to the CPC; and to present a resolution to this matter by the September 22 Council meeting. The Council took no action on the recommendation as the meeting was a working session to allow resident input on this topic. Council is taking all recommendations under advisement.
The Anthem Community Center has announced the hours the lap pool, dive well and water park will be open for 2010. The lap pool and dive well will be open during Spring Break, March 15-19, Monday-Friday, from noon to 5:00pm. Lifeguards will be on duty. After Spring Break, from March 20-May 28, the lap pool and dive well will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays between noon and 5:00pm.
