Kids dance, neighbors visit and the park rocks during Music in May in Anthem. Held every Friday night in May in the Community Park Amphitheater, this FREE family-friendly event invites the community to grab a blanket, bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the diverse sounds of local Arizona bands underneath the Anthem sky. Food trucks will be on site the first week for food purchases; the ice cream truck will be on site the weeks following. Confirmed food trucks include Yellowman Frybread, Satay Hut, Mein Man, Grilled Addiction, Mustache Pretzels and Frosted Frenzy Cupcakes.

Open to the public; free admission and parking.

Shining Star brightens up the night with its signature variety of R&B and dance tunes. The band promises to make the night a memorable one, as they perform songs by Michael Jackson, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, Beyonce and numerous others.
